Premiere of my « Étude pour les trilles et la précision des nuances » and 4 other trombone etudes by Roland Moser, Michel Roth, Nadir Vassena, and Casper Johannes Walter, played by trombonist Mike Svoboda together with the trombonist from les trombones de bâle, Stephen Menotti and Jon Roskilly.
The etudes have been commissioned in connection with the book The playing technics of the trombone, written by Mike Svoboda with Michel Roth for the Bärenreiter series.
